Cobra Health Insurance Does Anyone Know If COBRA Health Insurance Would Back Date Coverage For A College Student Who Is No Longer FT?

Does anyone know if COBRA health insurance would back date coverage for a college student who is no longer FT? - cobra health insurance

My son is 22 years old for P / T for the next semester and will not be covered during this time. My concern is that if something happens, I wonder who would be covered when something will happen. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

He is eligible for health insurance through the university, is probably the best choice for reporting at low cost.

Expect to wait for the date back a bit, to commit fraud. That will not happen.

If someone leaves the company, have only 45 days to notify COBRA. If we do not, they will receive them immediately, we will come at the end with your insurance to make ends meet. However, if they open for Cobra 45 days, retroactive to secure for them. Now, of course, have to pay for it by COBRA. Please sign up for COBRA within 45 days of reflection, the opportunity is lost.
